Fees

As part of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC), we help families access affordable, high-quality early learning experiences.

Eligibility for reduced fees

Eligible children are entitled to a childcare fee reduction retroactive to April 1, 2022, up to a minimum of $12.00 per day. Children aged 0-5 are eligible. In addition, children are also eligible if they are six (6) years old, up until a cut-off date determined as follows:

  • If the child’s sixth (6th) birthday falls between January and June, the child remains eligible until June 30 of that calendar year.
  • If the child’s sixth (6th) year birthday falls between July and December, the child remains eligible until the end of the month of their sixth (6th) birthday.

REKSAP – Jockvale Fees

Toddler (1.5 – 2.5 years of age):            $22.00 per day

Preschool (2.5 – 4 years of age):            $22.00 per day

Full-day programming is available during the March Break, Professional Development Days and Summer Holidays from Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

REKSAP Centres For Early Learning Board of Directors is determined to ensure that REKSAP continues to provide a high-quality, licensed centres for our children. The REKSAP Board reviews the budget annually; fee subject to increase January 1 each year.

Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care system (CWELCC) reduction applied to: Toddler and Preschool rates. REKSAP will continue to follow all guidelines in accordance with CWELCC.

Morning and afternoon snack as well as lunch provided for all children. Menus posted on parent board and in Digibot – Sample Menu to be provided

Annual Closure Dates:

  • New Year’s Day – January 1, 2027
  • Family Day – February 15, 2027
  • Good Friday – March 26, 2027
  • Easter Monday – March 29, 2027
  • Victoria Day – May 24, 2027
  • Professional Development / Summer Prep – the day following end of school year
  • Canada Day – July 1, 2027
  • Civic Holiday – August 2, 2027
  • Professional Development/ September Prep – end of summer August/September
  • Labour Day – September 7, 2026
  • Truth & Reconciliation Day – September (taken during winter holiday, in lieu of)
  • Thanksgiving – October 12, 2026
  • Remembrance Day – November (taken during winter holiday, in lieu of)
  • Christmas – December 25
  • Boxing Day – December 26
  • Winter Holiday Break – December 24/26 to January 1/27

*Closure periods may change annually due to the holiday dates.
**Families will not be billed for more than 20 days of scheduled closures, including those dates listed above.
***Inclement weather: Our childcare centre may be closed due to severe weather conditions or power outages. In such events, our staff will make every effort to communicate promptly with families. We will notify families through emails.
****Please note, no refunds will be given for unforeseen closures due to the inclement weather.
