Fees
As part of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC), we help families access affordable, high-quality early learning experiences.
Eligibility for reduced fees
Eligible children are entitled to a childcare fee reduction retroactive to April 1, 2022, up to a minimum of $12.00 per day. Children aged 0-5 are eligible. In addition, children are also eligible if they are six (6) years old, up until a cut-off date determined as follows:
- If the child’s sixth (6th) birthday falls between January and June, the child remains eligible until June 30 of that calendar year.
- If the child’s sixth (6th) year birthday falls between July and December, the child remains eligible until the end of the month of their sixth (6th) birthday.
REKSAP – Regina Fees
Toddler (1.5 – 2.5 years of age): $22.00 per day
Preschool (2.5 – 4 years of age): $21.66 per day
Kindergarten:
Blended rates (am & pm, PA days, March break, Christmas break, summer)
$12.29 per day
Non – CWELCC $26.01 per day
Full Day only
PA days, March break, Christmas break, summer (subject to availability)
$16.88 per day
Non – CWELCC $35.00 per day
School Age:
Option 1:

Option 2:
Blended Instructional school days only am and pm (NO – PA days, March break, Christmas break, summer)

For Option 2 registrations:
- Option 2 registration follows the school year (September to June).
- Before and after school care is available on instructional days only.
- All Option 2 registrations end on the last day of school, each year.
- Should you wish for your child(ren) to attend REKSAP at a future date, please log in to your City of Ottawa Child Care Registry and Waitlist account and create an application for each child.
- Families will be contacted based on spaces available and in the order of application date to the waitlist.
- Parents must re-apply for Option 2 each school year as spaces are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Option 3:
PA days, March break, Christmas break, summer (subject to availability)
$39.69 per day
Full-day programming is available during the March Break, Professional Development Days and Summer Holidays from Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
REKSAP Centres For Early Learning Board of Directors is determined to ensure that REKSAP continues to provide a high-quality, licensed centres for our children. The REKSAP Board reviews the budget annually; fee subject to increase January 1 each year.
Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care system (CWELCC) reduction applied to: Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten rates. REKSAP will continue to follow all guidelines in accordance with the CWELCC.
Morning and afternoon snack provided for all children. Lunch provided for Toddler and Preschool children. Menus posted on parent board and in Digibot – Sample Menu
Annual Closure Dates:
- New Year’s Day – January 1, 2027
- Family Day – February 15, 2027
- Good Friday – March 26, 2027
- Easter Monday – March 29, 2027
- Victoria Day – May 24, 2027
- Professional Development / Summer Prep – the day following end of school year
- Canada Day – July 1, 2027
- Civic Holiday – August 2, 2027
- Professional Development/ September Prep – end of summer August/September
- Labour Day – September 7, 2026
- Truth & Reconciliation Day – September (taken during winter holiday, in lieu of)
- Thanksgiving – October 12, 2026
- Remembrance Day – November (taken during winter holiday, in lieu of)
- Christmas – December 25
- Boxing Day – December 26
- Winter Holiday Break – December 24/26 to January 1/27
*Closure periods may change annually due to the holiday dates.
**Families will not be billed for more than 20 days of scheduled closures, including those dates listed above.
***Inclement weather: Our childcare centre may be closed due to severe weather conditions or power outages. In such events, our staff will make every effort to communicate promptly with families. We will notify families through emails.
****Please note, no refunds will be given for unforeseen closures due to the inclement weather.
